General Questions
A Therapy Care Card is a pre-paid digital care card that can be used to pay for sessions with any licensed mental health therapist in the My Wellness Wallet network. It functions like a direct-pay voucher for mental health therapy.

Network Requirement: Therapy Care Cards can only be used with licensed providers in our participating network. If your preferred therapist is not yet in our network, they can easily apply to join via our Provider page.
We are currently launching in Ohio, with plans to expand to other states soon. If you are outside Ohio, join our waitlist to be notified when we arrive in your area.
No. Wellness Wallet is a direct-pay tool. However, many of our network therapists accept insurance, and the card can often be used to cover session co-pays or deductibles (depending on the provider’s policy).
For Givers

No. You can purchase a Therapy Care Card as a guest. You will enter your payment details and the recipient’s email address, and we handle the rest.
To protect the privacy of the recipient and the therapeutic relationship, givers do not see details of sessions or diagnoses. You will simply know that the card was redeemed with a pledged network provider.
Card funds are fully transferable. If the original recipient isn’t ready, they can pass the gift to someone else who needs it.
For Recipients
Visit our "Find a Therapist" page. You can search by location, specialty, and faith alignment. Every therapist listed is in our network and accepts the Therapy Care Card.
No. While our network is Christian-informed, our therapists are trained to provide ethical, client-centered care to people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Please note that Therapy Care Cards can only be redeemed with providers in the My Wellness Wallet network. You can invite your therapist to apply to join the network via our Provider page.
